Lock in lower BIC rates on a Ford Ranger Double Cab at the
Sandicliffe Ford Ranger Event - 3rd - 7th February 2025

Recent changes in HMRC Guidance mean that from 6th April 2025, double-cab pick-ups will be classified as cars for benefit-in-kind purposes, this shift will impact the cost of ownership for some company vehicle drivers.

Ford Double Cab Ranger ordered before 6th April 2025 will lock in lower van taxable benefit rates until disposal, lease end, or 5th April 2029* (whichever comes soonest).

Design

Capability

The Ranger has a 1 tonne gross payload and can handle towing up to 3.5 tonne^. And a wading depth of 800 mm means it goes where lesser vehicles may fear to tread. With a wider stance, the Ranger load box area is now wide enough to accommodate a standard Euro pallet between the wheel houses. The innovative rear bumper design now includes a convenient integrated foot step on either side, providing easier access to your cargo.

Ranger Plug-in Hybrid

Europe’s first Plug-in Hybrid pick-up. Delivering uncompromised capability, with even greater efficiency* . The Ranger PHEV seamlessly combines a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, a 11.8-kWh battery and a 75kW electric motor. A choice of EV driving modes means you can drive on petrol, on battery power, or a combination of the two. With a targeted electric-only driving range of around 27 miles††, the Ranger PHEV is ideal for when your work takes you into the heart of the city.
